This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines</li>\n <li>Repair and replace tires</li>\n <li>Replace wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)</li>\n <li>Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a repair order (RO) to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair</li>\n <li>Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures</li>\n <li>Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services</li>\n <li>May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs</li>\n <li>Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards</li>\n <li>Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards</li>\n <li>Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting</li>\n <li>Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality</li>\n <li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have at least 1 year of experience handling automotive mechanical service procedures</li>\n <li>The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license</li>\n <li>VT State Inspection license (preferred, but required within the first 6 months of employment)</li>\n <li>Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 5 years)</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.<strong></strong></li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write and understand English</li>\n <li>Aside from religious observances, must be available to work an average of 40 hours per week, including weekends</li>\n <li>Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
