    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">CompX Grayslake is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical and electromechanical locking devices, systems for world class original equipment manufacturers and manufacture of precision instruments, throttles, marine products, and accessories.</p><p>&nbsp;The candidate should be self-motivated, multi-tasking individual who has good communication and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Position Responsibilities</u></strong>:</p><ul><li>Prepare parts for shipping to outside vendors (transaction and physical preparation).</li><li>Load and unload packages from incoming trucks.</li><li>Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.</li><li>Ability to receive, pick/pull, and ship material via UPS, FedEx, etc.</li><li>Deliver parts to respective areas in the plant.</li><li>Transfer material in/out of stockroom.</li><li>Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, etc.).</li><li>Perform Cycle counts and transact material in ERP system.</li><li>Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.</li><li>Put away product/material.</li><li>Other Duties Assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Physical Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma, G.E.D.</li><li>Ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs.</li><li>Knowledge of ERP System, a plus.</li><li>Ability to drive all powered equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, tugger, etc.).<ul><li>Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment.</li><li>Constantly standing and walking throughout the workday.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequent repetitive motions.&nbsp;</li><li>Required to wear eye protection and safety shoes.</li></ul></li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Preferred Skills and Experience:</u></strong></p><ul><li>SyteLine knowledge</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>CompX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
