    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation, a leading civil engineering firm based in California, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our Education and Facilities Sector. The Senior Project Manager position works onsite and leads a construction team in accordance with District and program policies and procedures for college construction bond operations. Must be available to be on the premises interacting with the Campus Director, the Campus President, and the Vice President. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Resolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.</li>\n <li>Develops, assigns, and monitors performance of OARs relative to assigned construction projects.</li>\n <li>Reviews status and overall construction project progress relative to submitted construction schedules.</li>\n <li>Reviews change orders from all construction projects and assesses their impact on the district.</li>\n <li>Assists Regional Directors and other Facilities management staff with bid and contract planning.</li>\n <li>Assesses bid specifications for District need and probability of completion under stated timeline.</li>\n <li>Reviews status and monitors variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting</li>\n <li>Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal management of multiple construction projects.</li>\n <li>Provides functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control.</li>\n <li>Reviews and monitors overall administration of contracts for the architect and related consultants.</li>\n <li>Coordinates program activities with other District organizational branches and departments such as the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, Design and A/E Technical Support, Asset Management Branch, Facilities Contract Administration, Inspection Unit, Maintenance and Operations, and local districts</li>\n <li>Reviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects.</li>\n <li>Develops and recommends internal policies.</li>\n <li>Participate in project risk assessments and discussions to identify impacts on the </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.</li>\n <li>Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI) may be substituted for the required education.</li>\n <li>15 years of full-time paid professional project/construction management experience.</li>\n <li>5 years of experience in managing large programs with projects having construction values in excess of $60 million (not cumulative)</li>\n <li>5 years’ experience in educational facility construction, public works, or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience or educational courses in business administration, public relations, accounting, finance, personnel management, and communication are preferred.</li>\n <li>Design Build Experience</li>\n <li>Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)</li>\n <li>Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)</li>\n <li>Experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Licenses and Certificates:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary Range: $200K - $228K per year.</p>\n<p>Location: Los Angeles, CA </p>\n<p>Work Environment: Onsite</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p><strong>Cordoba Corporation, Making a Difference</strong></p>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a nationally recognized civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
