    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div><ul><li>Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.&nbsp;</li><li>Greet arriving guests/visitors; bid farewell to departing guests/visitors.</li><li>Assist guests and visitors into and out of their vehicles, including loading/unloading luggage.</li><li>Ensure that all driveways are kept clear; that vehicles are not parked or left standing in illegal spaces.</li><li>Monitor all parking areas/levels; report any vehicle/safety hazards; unauthorized personnel or potential security problems to Manager.</li><li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas; rectify any deficiencies.</li><li>Identify and explain hotel facilities and features to guests while escorting them to their room.</li><li>Place guest luggage inside room.</li><li>Relay accurate directions to guests on inquiries of transportation within the local area.</li><li>Handle guest complaints by ensuring guest satisfaction.</li><li>Deliver items to guest rooms promptly to include messages; mail and faxes; packages; flowers; sundry items requested by guest; gift items.</li><li>Monitor and maintain appearance of lobby areas and luggage holding room.</li><li>Ensure confidentiality of hotel guests and security of guest room access.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms. Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all hotel services and features. Responsible for attending to immediate needs of each guest upon arrival and follow through attention throughout stay. Thorough knowledge of all hotel services and amenities. May also perform valet services, i.e. drive, park and retrieve guest/visitor vehicles as they arrive and depart from the hotel, courteously, safely, and efficiently according to the hotel's standards.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div><ul><li>Valid driver’s license in the state of hotel’s operations.</li><li>Excellent driving record</li><li>Due the nature of our insurance, the candidate MUST at least be 21 years of age.</li><li>Ability to provide legible communication and directions.</li><li>Previous guest relations and/or training.</li><li>Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.&nbsp;</li><li>High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;This position requires a CLEAN driving record (ie.
