Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship. Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants. Proven experience in HVAC service, repair, and installation. Maintain detailed service records, parts inventory, and compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide effective troubleshooting under time constraints. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service processes and customer experience. Skills: The HVAC Service Technician utilizes technical skills daily to diagnose and repair complex heating and cooling systems, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment allows the technician to identify issues quickly and accurately. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for developing effective repair strategies and adapting to new technologies in HVAC systems.
