They will also support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing operations. This role assists in identifying and implementing process improvements, supporting CAPEX project evaluations, participating in process and 5S audits, and contributing to Kaizen and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. The intern will work cross-functionally with operations, quality, safety, and engineering teams to help improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing systems and standard work practices.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div><p><br></p><div align=\"center\"><table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" width=\"100%\"><tbody><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within manufacturing operations&nbsp;</li><li>Support CAPEX project analysis, data collection, and justification efforts&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in process audits and 5S assessments; help document findings and track action items&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives&nbsp;</li><li>Collect and analyze data related to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and performance metrics&nbsp;</li><li>Help develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visual management tools&nbsp;</li><li>Support the creation and updating of standard work documentation&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, safety, engineering) on improvement efforts&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in tracking progress of improvement plans and follow-up actions&nbsp;</li><li>Assist manufacturing engineers with the design of new fixtures and equipment.
