Weekend and Evening availability required.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary</strong>: The Caf&eacute; Lead is responsible for supporting daily food and beverage operations at the Horizons Edge Sports Campus Cafe.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee daily caf&eacute; and concessions operations during practices, games, leagues, tournaments, and special events</li><li>Deliver fast, friendly, and welcoming customer service</li><li>Train part time staff on food and beverage procedures and demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism at all times</li><li>Maintain a positive environment that enhances the overall guest experience</li><li>Ensure efficient food preparation, service, and closing procedures</li><li>Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times</li><li>Follow and ensure staff follow outlined health, safety, and cash-handling procedures</li><li>Follow Virginia Alcohol Beverage Commission&rsquo;s regulations of service</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and communicate to Operations Director for reorders as needed</li><li>Track waste and manage portion control to maintain profitability</li><li>Clean, maintain and inspect equipment</li><li>Work with Hospitality Director and Operations Director to craft standard operating procedures</li><li>Be proactive in process development and improvement for Edge Caf&eacute; Operations</li><li>Attend all mandatory Edge meetings</li><li>Participate in operational training and facilitate non-food and beverage programs when needed</li><li>Support as a Team Lead or Welcome Desk Attendant as needed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p><ul><li>Must be at least twenty-one years of age</li><li>Passion for quality, safety, and sanitization</li><li>Understand and practice basic food safety</li><li>ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain</li><li>Managers&rsquo; Alcohol Responsibility Training (MART) Certification or willing to obtain</li><li>Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills</li><li>Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment</li><li>Must be able to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays as needed</li><li>Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Must have strong leadership skills</li></ul></div>\n",
