Our wines are a true reflection of time and place — expressive, precise, and designed to evolve.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span><br>The position ensures that our irrigation equipment, such as driplines, water lines, pumps, suction devices, and valves are all used and maintained according to standards and our site requirements.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operating machinery such as a variety of tractors and side by sides to get around the property, help with tasks and transport irrigation equipment.</li>\n<li>Safe and efficient operation of tractor and other heavy machinery on a variety of terrain doing tasks such as mowing, spraying, mulching and trimming</li>\n<li>Tractor driving (down the vine rows), machine harvesting duties.</li>\n<li>Daily use of maintenance and service of irrigation systems, pump filters, pump house and dosing pumps</li>\n<li>Assist with the upkeep of all valve boxes and moisture reading equipment</li>\n<li>Work with equipment such as shovels and pick axes</li>\n<li>Trellis maintenance</li>\n<li>Make regular checks around the property for hot spots/dry patches and liaise with management about any areas that may need irrigation attention</li>\n<li>Ensure that all equipment and machinery is operated in a safe and efficient manner and washed down and clean at the end of each day if required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You:</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced vineyard allrounder that is a hand-on team player. We would love to hear from candidates who have the following attributes:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexibility in working hours, as during the harvest season you may be required to work longer hours and extra days.</li>\n<li>The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and will be required to perform physical tasks.</li>\n<li>A current driver’s license</li>\n<li>Experience with irrigation/machinery and past relevant industry experience would be highly desirable</li>\n<li>Ability to work both by yourself and within/lead a team</li>\n<li>Good knowledge of and commitment to health and safety</li>\n<li>Respectful of our environment, keeping environmental consciousness at the fore front of processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>When you join our team, you will be rewarded with a beautiful place to work and competitive pay.
