In addition, you can earn an additional $1 / hour for ASE certifications beyond the required minimum of 2, up to 4 total. The maximum pay for this position is $38 / hour. We currently operate two shifts seven days a week, and the shift can change based on the bid for shifts, which is decided by technician seniority. The shifts are as follows:\n  <ul>\n   <li>First Shift: 5:00am-2:00pm with a one hour lunch</li>\n   <li>Second Shift: 2:00pm-11:00pm with a one hour lunch break</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work alongside an experienced auto technician as directed by supervisor or manager, to gain experience in the following areas:</li>\n <li>Ensure that all mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines</li>\n <li>Complete manufacturer required training and perform warranty and recall repairs according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.</li>\n <li>Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training</li>\n <li>Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.</li>\n <li>Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures</li>\n <li>Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services</li>\n <li>Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools</li>\n <li>May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy backs</li>\n <li>Update job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training</li>\n <li>Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards</li>\n <li>Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards</li>\n <li>Perform related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Two years of automotive repair training at an accredited technical/trade school OR a minimum of one year of repair experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles.</li>\n <li>At least 2 current and valid ASE certifications required (A1-A8).</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work toward 4 ASE certifications for promotional opportunities</li>\n <li>Must have a current and valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record with in the past 3 years.</li>\n <li>No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).</li>\n <li>Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future</li>\n <li>Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as required by, and consistent with, applicable law.</em></p>",
