This is a deeply people and relationship centric role, focused on enabling financial advisors to engage in financial planning. Importantly, this role does not create financial plans directly. Instead, the AVP acts as an ambassador for the financial planning team by championing its value, driving awareness and adoption of financial planning services, and connecting advisors to the appropriate planning resources.   </p><p></p><p>The AVP partners closely with advisors, planning specialists, and cross-functional teams to enhance and deliver a high-quality, advisor-centric planning experience. They drive consistency and scalability across planning tools, frameworks, education, and support, all while reinforcing the firm’s broader planning philosophy and elevating the impact of the planning team across the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Partner with the National Planning Institute leadership to design, enhance, and maintain financial planning standards and frameworks.</li><li>Partner with leadership on the development, implementation and adoption of additional HNW and UHNW products and services</li><li>Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices to continuously evolve the firm’s planning approach.</li><li>Support pilot programs, initiatives, and special projects tied to planning innovation and advisor experience.</li><li>Act as a liaison between advisors, planning teams, and technology/product partners to improve the end-to-end planning experience</li><li>Ensure consistent, high-quality planning outcomes that align with the firm’s brand, client promise, and fiduciary standards.</li><li>Contribute to the development and deployment of advisor-facing planning tools, resources, templates, and technology solutions.</li><li>Lead or support training programs, continuing education, and workshops related to financial planning capabilities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required  </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>10&#43; years of financial services or wealth management experience</li><li>Strong working knowledge of comprehensive financial planning principles and client-centric planning practices.</li><li>Experience supporting or partnering with financial advisors in a complex wealth management environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.</li><li>Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and influence without direct authority.</li><li>Comfortable working in a national, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Advisor-centric mindset with a focus on experience and outcomes.</li><li>Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation capabilities.</li><li>High level of professionalism, integrity, and judgment.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Deep familiarity with comprehensive, client‑centric financial planning philosophies and best practices.</li><li>Polished communication, presentation, and facilitation skills suitable for executive, advisor, and peer audiences.</li><li>Advisor‑focused perspective with a passion for enhancing experience and driving meaningful outcomes.</li></ul><h1><a href=\"https://www.myworkday.com/advisorgroup/d/home.htmld\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"emphasis-3\">Current Employees and Contractors Apply Here</span></a></h1>",
