    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operations Supervisor</span> is responsible for managing the daily activities within one or more assigned functional areas—<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Quality or Value-Added Services</span>. This role ensures that operational goals around productivity, accuracy, safety, and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader capable of motivating and guiding team members, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and coordinate daily operations in one or more of the following areas: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, quality and value-added services.</li>\n<li>Assign tasks and oversee the execution of processes in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.</li>\n<li>Manage labor and resources efficiently to meet operational deadlines and customer service level agreements (SLAs).</li>\n<li>Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) daily to track productivity and identify areas for improvement.</li>\n<li>Foster a positive work environment by providing coaching, development, motivation, and regular performance feedback to team members.</li>\n<li>Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.</li>\n<li>Promote and enforce compliance with all safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure work environment.</li>\n<li>Support adherence to ISO standards and other applicable regulations.</li>\n<li>Assist in developing and implementing process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.</li>\n<li>Train and onboard new employees; provide ongoing training and performance feedback for existing staff.</li>\n<li>Lead and participate in regular team and departmental meetings to drive communication and alignment.</li>\n<li>Participate in the hiring process by conducting interviews and evaluating potential candidates.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with other departmental managers, supervisors, and executive leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OR</span> college degree in business, logistics, or a related field required.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li>\n<li>Experience with warehouse management systems or ERPs is a plus.</li>\n<li>Professional demeanor when interacting with vendors, internal and external customers, and guests.</li>\n<li>Willingness and availability to work extended hours or weekends as business needs demand.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds</li>\n<li>Ability to alternate sitting, walking and standing up to 8 hours per day</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Note</span>: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
