Ranked as a top PMCM firm by Engineering News-Record (ENR) for more than three decades, our award-winning team provides a full range of services to public and private sector clients in the aviation; healthcare; education (K-12 and higher); justice and essential services; science and technology; state and local government; transportation; water and wastewater; energy; and commercial, residential and nonprofit markets. </p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> <strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Resolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements</li>\n <li>Develops, assigns, and monitors performance of OARs relative to assigned construction projects</li>\n <li>Reviews status and overall construction project progress relative to submitted constructionschedules</li>\n <li>Reviews change orders from all construction projects and assesses their impact on the district</li>\n <li>Assists Regional Directors and other Facilities management staff with bid and contract planning</li>\n <li>Assesses bid specifications according to District needs and probability of completion under statedtimeline</li>\n <li>Reviews status and monitors variances of the construction project database relative to schedulingand cost control reporting</li>\n <li>Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal managementof multiple construction projects</li>\n <li>Provides functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules,cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control</li>\n <li>Reviews and monitors overall administration of contracts for Architects and related consultants</li>\n <li>Coordinates program activities with other District organizational branches and departments suchas the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, Design and A/E Technical Support, AssetManagement Branch, Facilities Contract Administration, Inspection Unit, Maintenance andOperations, and local districts</li>\n <li>Reviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects</li>\n <li>Develops and recommends internal policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture,Engineering, or Construction Management\n  <ul>\n   <li>OR Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
