Apply now! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Terrain Home Stylist cultivates the overall service and selling culture in the store and drives brand metrics by developing authentic customer connections, offering expert styling advice, and providing an individualized experience with curated product recommendations.</p>\n<h2>Role Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Customer Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contributes to upholding a service culture that demonstrates extraordinary service to cultivate an environment where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued</li>\n <li>Leads by example in relationship building, styling, and networking with customers; educates the store team and the customer on the benefits working with a stylist and any other applicable Design Services </li>\n <li>Generates impromptu and formal appointment opportunities to cultivate customer relationships and drive key metrics</li>\n <li>Advocates for technology usage and encourages the team to transact in the moment, upsell/cross-sell, and clientele</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Teamwork + Mentorship </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contributes to an inclusive environment by helping to amplify all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectives</li>\n <li>Identifies terrain home styling knowledge gaps amongst the team and actions accordingly; facilitates regional and brand styling initiatives or trainings</li>\n <li>Utilizes brand resources to share relevant styling and product knowledge with the team to elevate associate confidence in servicing the terrain customer</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Visual + Business Operations</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews store business to understand buying trends, influence product recommendations and selling decisions, and to drive home department business</li>\n <li>Takes ownership of the terrain business by capitalizing on walk-in traffic and identifies business-driving opportunities through outreach and networking; actions opportunities in partnership with store leadership to drive incremental sales for the store and achieve company and outreach goals</li>\n <li>Partners with visual team to execute seasonal updates for showrooms, new concepts, and design space</li>\n <li>Upholds accountability and productivity for part-time or full-time zoned stylist hours; contributes to a customer-first philosophy and is flexible in supporting other areas when business dictates</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Communication + Relationships  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicates customer insights and shopping patterns to the leadership team and styling team through regional or brand communication platforms</li>\n <li>Cultivates productive relationships with leadership and selling team that contributes to a collaborative, customer-centric environment; maintains open communication to identify and act on business needs in the moment</li>\n <li>Contributes to positive team morale through brand and store initiatives such as the SPARKED Journal, employee recognition, and team building activities</li>\n <li>Collaborates with store leadership in identifying and curating events and experiences that are reflective of the interests of the local customer and surrounding community to drive brand engagement</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Role Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Terrain brand fan</li>\n <li>2+ years of experience building customer relationships or clienteling</li>\n <li>Passion for interior design</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Perks</h2>\n<p>URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
