Specialist II, Business Planning (Investment Planning)

Job Summary: At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Specialist II, Business Planning (Investment) will play a key role in supporting investment planning and financial analysis activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational priorities. This role is responsible for monitoring budget performance, preparing investment-related reports, and supporting planning processes including forecasting and mid-term investment strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the specialist supports cost tracking, performance analysis, and internal coordination to ensure accurate reporting and effective execution of investment plans. Responsibilities: Support monitoring of budget vs. actual performance, identifying variances and assisting in development of corrective action plans. Assist in annual budgeting, mid-term investment planning, and forecasting processes. Prepare and maintain investment-related reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Support internal investment review processes, including preparation of materials for corporate investment committee meetings. Track and analyze overhead costs and investment-related expenses to support financial visibility. Support reporting of target versus actual performance metrics and provide data for business analysis. Coordinate recurring meetings related to investment planning, including scheduling and logistics. Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and meeting minutes, and follow up on action items to support cross-functional communication. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in business planning, finance, or a related function. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing presentations and business materials. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
