    "description": "<p>We are looking for bilingual field crew members who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for restoring the natural environment or the desire to learn!  Our  crew members implement habitat restoration projects, perform invasive vegetation removal, felling and chipping of trees using chainsaws and chippers, and identify native and exotic plants in both wetland and upland environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<p>EarthBalance is an employee-owned company that specializes in Environmental Restoration. We offer competitive pay and benefits including:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health Insurance</li>\n<li>Dental Insurance</li>\n<li>Vision Insurance</li>\n<li>Vacation and Holidays</li>\n<li>401K Plan with Employer Match</li>\n<li>Employee Stock Ownership Plan (a company-sponsored pension)</li>\n<li>Travel Allowance and more</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working outside in Landscaping, Environmental Restoration or similar fields</li>\n<li>Must be able to travel with overnight stays out of state which may last several weeks (lodging and per diem are provided).</li>\n<li>Ability to work for any employer in the United States.</li>\n<li>Must pass a pre-employment drug test.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Duties</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be responsible for loading and unloading the equipment necessary to carry out the work at different job sites.</li>\n<li>The majority of our crew work in forests, swamps, mangroves, and beaches.</li>\n<li>Work will involve the use of 4x4 utility vehicles, swamp buggies, airboats and other vehicles, and carrying heavy backpacks while traversing uneven terrain on foot.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills Needed</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Bilingual in English and Spanish is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">plus/ </span></span></li>\n<li>Ability to carry a backpack weighing up to 50 lbs. while walking on uneven terrain is a must.</li>\n<li>Ability to wield a machete is a must.</li>\n<li>Experience operating chainsaws, string mowers, pole saws, herbicide sprayers, and other handheld equipment.</li>\n<li>Ability to operate GPS units.</li>\n<li>Ability to work in extreme heat and often wet conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span></p>\n<p>All of the duties of this crew position are performed outside. You will be constantly moving through uneven terrain, wetlands, beaches, mangroves, and other types of natural environments.
