Experience in other building types and architecture is an asset.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction methods</li>\n<li>Skilled in developing hand drawings and sketches of design ideas</li>\n<li>Fluent in current design trends, products, and resources</li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of the language of classical design and Audax’s design philosophy of Human Architecture</li>\n<li>High level of skill with Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications</li>\n<li>Hand drawing skills</li>\n<li>Experience in the production of high-quality computer renderings and presentation materials</li>\n<li>Well-organized and detail-oriented problem solver with excellent time management skills</li>\n<li>Personable with excellent presentation skills</li>\n<li>Excellent English written and verbal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Key Responsibilities</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the Principals and Director of Interior Design to develop the project narrative and design direction</li>\n<li>Manage staff workflow to ensure the project is within the set budget and schedule</li>\n<li>Direct and assist with the production of all drawings and deliverables throughout all phases of assigned projects</li>\n<li>Review all project drawings and deliverables</li>\n<li>Act as primary consultant liaison</li>\n<li>Direct the team’s coordination with the project consultants, ensuring proactive efforts to meet deadlines are consistently maintained</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Architecture and Construction departments to foster synergy among the three, operating as one cohesive entity</li>\n<li>Provide competent technical expertise in the design of assigned projects</li>\n<li>Ensure maximum project efficiency by driving the team’s initiatives to full capacity, minimizing downtime</li>\n<li>Coordinate all activities related to assigned projects and maintain minutes as required</li>\n<li>Prepare progress reports, as necessary</li>\n<li>Supervise, direct, and mentor junior staff</li>\n<li>Serve as an advocate for Human Architecture and embody the Audax mission statement in all facets of work</li>\n<li>Promote core values of teamwork, quality design, professionalism, and high client service</li>\n<li>Provide insights and recommendations for improving processes and practices to continuously enhance project outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Benefits of Working at Audax</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Given our 3 practice areas, you will have a unique and in-depth learning experience, provided by exposure to the day-to-day functions of architecture, interior design, and construction</li>\n<li>The opportunity to work with the best of the best, including the finest trades and craftsmen, the highest quality materials and finishes, along with some of the most successful and affluent homeowners and business people across Canada and internationally</li>\n<li>The move to a new, custom-built office located directly across the street from Trinity Bellwoods Park, just steps away from the shops and restaurants of Queen Street West, Dundas Street West, Little Italy, and Ossington Avenue.
