    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Title</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Finish Batch Mixer Operator- Batch Off</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>FLSA Status:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Non-Exempt</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Location:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Chester, SC</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Setup and operate assigned machine(s) to weigh, mix and/or blend rubber and other chemicals into a homogeneous mixture.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Load specified amounts of materials as directed by SOP into machinery or equipment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using powered/non-powered transportation equipment and/or hand tools.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Examine materials, ingredients, or products per SOP to ensure conformance to established standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate machines per SOP to mix or blend ingredients to specific standard conditions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clean and maintain equipment as directed targeting a 5S approach.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor accessory equipment, such as pumps or conveyors, to assure compliance to all standards of production process.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow work orders to determine production schedule, specifications and compliance to standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Dislodge and clear jammed materials or other items from machinery or equipment as needed while maintaining SOP for safety and quality.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Notifies maintenance department of machine malfunction.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1-2 Years of manufacturing or warehouse experience</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must possess basic computer skills, data entry skills, and the ability to operate and load simple computer programs to run the equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to operate with speed and accuracy and maintain a team player attitude.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic, energetic and fast paced work environment.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Stand/walk/move about specific work area</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bend/reach/twist/stoop</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lift to 75+ lbs. on a frequent basis</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Exposure to industrial equipment, heat, and noise (PPE provided).</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EEO Statement:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Giti Tire Mfg. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
