          "text": "<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>&#xa0;Location:&#xa0;</strong><strong>West Territory (North West Area = Minnesota, Iowa, Washington, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Oregon, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Montana, Missouri) &#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></p><p>The Safety Manager ensures safe working conditions and practices that meet all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies are being followed at site locations. The Safety Manager also coaches site manager and personnel on the recognition, elimination, and control of occupational hazards and environmental risks. This position is responsible for the development of HSE improvement plans, metrics, and strategies as it applies to job site locations.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>• Provide safety leadership in area of responsibility.</p><p>• Audit and assist in the compliance of MSHA Part 46 and Part 48 training plans.</p><p>• Assist branch managers with required training and training logistics.</p><p>• Develop partnerships with qualified MSHA trainers both externally and at client sites.</p><p>• Manage information generation and submission of MSHA 7000-1 and 7000-2 reports.</p><p>• Conduct periodic safety meetings, safety training, safety audits, risk assessments, and other safety related assistance at branch and job site locations with emphasis on job sites.</p><p>• Create effective safety partnerships with all employees and client safety departments.</p><p>• Ensure the effectiveness of day-to-day safety compliance and procedures.</p><p>• Lead or take part in the investigation and conduct Root Cause Analysis on all injury/illness and/or near hit incidents to include corrective action plans.</p><p>• Assist, advise, follow-up, and/or lead implementation with local management on corrective actions with all incidents and near hits.</p><p>• Implement and follow-up on regional safety policies and procedures.</p><p>• Provide Safety and Health related information to responsible manager/person to assist in their completing vendor pre-qualification questionnaires and packages.</p><p>• Assist, or act as backup resource, to other Safety Managers (all business units) and Safety Director in the Region.</p><p>• Assist Safety Director, as needed, with client meetings and presentations to demonstrate Konecranes safety commitment and history.</p><p>• Represent company with safety and health regulatory agencies including MSHA, OSHA and Cal OSHA.</p><p>• Other duties as assigned</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><p>• Thorough knowledge and understanding of OSHA 1910 and 1926 and applicable MSHA 30 CFR standards.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills.</p><p>• Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written). The ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.</p><p>• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft® Office.</p><p>• Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.</p><p>• Must be a highly motivated and motivational team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.</p><p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Safety, or equivalent preferred.</p><p>• 5 or more years of progressive safety management experience in occupational safety and health within an industrial service or mine mining sector is required.</p><p>• Experience with both OSHA and MSHA standards is required.</p><p>• Safety certifications such as CSP, OHST, CHST and CMSP are considered a strong asset.</p><p><strong>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>• Travel expectancy is 50% with frequent overnights</p>",
