Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">As a<strong> Configuration Control Specialist&nbsp;</strong>you’ll be<strong> r</strong>esponsible for the coordination, review, maintenance, and revision of all technical configuration documentation within the business unit.&nbsp;&nbsp;You will work with other Configuration Control Specialists across other business units to ensure that everyone is working towards the corporate vision of configuration control.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Reviews new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical documents and defines impact to: applicable overhaul manuals, service bulletins, parts lists, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Unit Build Standards (UBS).</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Coordinates the review of technical documents with engineering staff and amends applicable current company documentation including: BOM, shop orders, Company Processes (CPs) and Matrix routings that may also lead to Temporary Overhaul Data Revision (TODR) and Outside Vendor Instructions (OVI).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Responsible for the on-going updating of the Matrix (remanufacturing) routing system.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Participates in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Provides applicable Measures of Performance (MOPs) related to technical configuration documentation to the Director, Engineering (SBU) and/or the Director, Quality Improvement (SBU).</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Responsible for creating and mastering Production Management System (PMS) part numbers, PMS routing generation/revision, PMS Master bill maintenance, and routing approval.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Modifies master files for: ROC, model codes, process type, PMS unit code, work centre and PMS part code.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Maintains accountability for the SBU format of bill of materials (BOM) and all subsequent changes.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Maintains Unit Bill Masterfile and controls StandardAero processes IAW OEM Tech Date updates.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Responsible for maintaining the central filing system for technical documentation and engineering reports within the business unit.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Meets with Configuration Control Specialists from other business units to facilitate and develop a consistent corporate vision of configuration control.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Provides training and guidance to business unit staff regarding all areas of technical documentation and engine configuration.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Maintains and distributes documentation system training packages for the business unit.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Carries out special projects as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, or 5+ years’ experience in an inspection role associated with technical documentation.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">1+ years of experience in an aviation/aerospace environment.</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Desired Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Intermediate to advanced MS Office Skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Strong organizational, analytical, decision making, leadership, interpersonal, planning, oral and written communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Thorough understanding of records management and documentation control.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Thorough knowledge of processes, unit build standards, temporary overhaul data revisions, and original equipment manufacturer's manuals.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Benefits that make life better:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Comprehensive Health and Dental insurance</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">401K with 100% company match;
