You&rsquo;ll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Specific benefits include:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Competitive Pay: $20.74 + $5.95(H&amp;W Cash) =$26.69</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Recognition and Reward Programs</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Training and Career Development</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Opportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Uniform and equipment provided</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Additional benefits vary depending on position</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Expected Responsibilities:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Patrol on foot or vehicle observing and maintaining the security protection including at client facilities, stations, bus stops, and at public areas to detect evidence of damage, misuse or theft, issue written warnings.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Prevent the public and unauthorized individuals from entering all restricted areas of Client facilities and rights-of-way.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Routinely interface with the riding public, providing general information relative to use of the system and other necessary information.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Prepare and submit security reports and provide assistance to investigators as required</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities to include routine fare inspection sweeps (Compass Cards and paper passes), passenger counts, onboard and in fare paid zones and report accordingly.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Respond effectively to all calls for assistance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Must be sensitive to client&rsquo;s culture and strive to maintain a positive client brand image.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Treat Client&rsquo;s employees, invitees, and guest with the utmost courtesy and respect.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Must have an Exposed Firearms Permit (for Armed Positions)</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Must have current Guard Card</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; Must have a valid California Driver&#39;s License or State ID</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&middot; May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running.</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>CPR/AED/First Aid/Baton/OC Pepper Spray(preferred)</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Must pass a 10 panel DOT required drug screen</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Excellent customer service skills</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Reliable and professional</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Education and Experience:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>High school diploma or equivalent</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Speak, read, and write English.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>1 yr or more security experience</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Inter-Con Overview</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Founded in 1973, Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is a leading US-owned security company, providing integrated security solutions to government and commercial customers on four continents.
