By joining our team, you will be contributing to an environment that promotes equity, respect, and inclusion for all.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Are you the one we’re looking for?</span><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Early Childhood Outreach Worker who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.</p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summer Early Childhood Outreach Worker </span>will be responsible for working with the EarlyON Child and Family Centre’s Supervisor to support and facilitate the involvement of families in EarlyON Child and Family Centre’s.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Temporary, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">30-40 hours per week</span> From <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">June 22 2026 – August 14 2026</span>. <br>The rate of pay is<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> $17.60</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Liaise with staff in the Newcomer Services program</li>\n<li>Support and facilitate the children and families’ participation/attendance in the Early Years services available in the Hamilton-Centre riding</li>\n<li>Bring child appropriate materials and activities to current locations where multiple newly arrived families reside and facilitate children and family services at these locations</li>\n<li>Provide community outreach, interacting with parents and children in community settings to encourage their participation in Wesley’s EarlyON Child and Family Centre’s</li>\n<li>Build positive relationships with children, parents and service providers</li>\n<li>Welcome, support and interact with all clients, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds, newcomers to Canada, LGBTQ2S+, young parents, etc.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will bring:</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Completion of Secondary School Diploma</li>\n<li>Applicant must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.</li>\n<li>Postsecondary studies or previous experience in Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Worker, Recreation Leadership, Social Service Worker, Social Work or a Social Service field.</li>\n<li>Experience and sensitivity working with all families including those culturally diverse, LGBTQ2S+, young parents, etc.</li>\n<li>Must be willing to work flexible hours.</li>\n<li>First aid/CPR training.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Invest in Yourself as we Invest in You!
