    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This position coordinates with the Project Manager the work of a crew along with executing installation tasks for audio visual projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, handling and terminating fiber, mounting projects and metal fabrication.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints</li>\n <li>Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks</li>\n <li>Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring</li>\n <li>Projector and screen support structure installations</li>\n <li>Test point to point functionality of systems</li>\n <li>Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) – upload and download capability</li>\n <li>Mentor Technicians and Lead Technicians</li>\n <li>Load and test code for control and DSP systems</li>\n <li>Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer</li>\n <li>Provide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project Manager</li>\n <li>Perform client training as needed</li>\n <li>Customer liaison in absence of Project Manager</li>\n <li>Responsible for job documentation as needed</li>\n <li>Demonstrate job site leadership</li>\n <li>Travel to various job sites required</li>\n <li>Other duties assigned as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues</li>\n <li>Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner</li>\n <li>Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office programs</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control</li>\n <li>Ability to manage small to medium projects</li>\n <li>Minor programming capability (AMX/Creston) – changes and troubleshooting</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred External Training:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>InfoComm Quick Start to the audiovisual industry</li>\n <li>InfoComm CTS General Certification</li>\n <li>OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course</li>\n <li>Extron AV Associate Certification</li>\n <li>Crestron Professional Installation Certification</li>\n <li>Essentials of Crestron Programming</li>\n <li>AMX Installer</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets Vision Technologies Driving Privileges standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical demands of this position are those that are necessary to meet the responsibilities and essential functions of this position.
