Compliance with <strong>Sandpiper&#39;s Fraternization Policy</strong> is mandatory.</p></li><li><p><strong>On-Call Responsibility:</strong> Responsible for <strong>overnight on-call shifts</strong> and <strong>weekend operations</strong> of the hotel, including coverage from <strong>Wednesday through Sunday</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>GM Succession:</strong> Assumes the <strong>General Manager&rsquo;s full responsibilities</strong> (managing the budget and maintaining standards) on weekends and when called upon or in the absence of the General Manager.</p></li></ul><hr><h2><br></h2><h2>Your Operational Duties</h2><p><br></p><p>As our On-Site Manager, you are the key manager for the Front Desk team and all weekend staff, responsible for the property&#39;s performance and culture when the GM is not present.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Front Desk Team Management (Direct Reports):</strong> <strong>Manages and has direct responsibility for the Front Desk team</strong>, including <strong>hiring, discipline, terminations, schedule-writing, training, mentoring</strong>, and conducting <strong>annual personnel performance appraisals</strong> for all direct reports.</p></li><li><p><strong>Weekend Supervision:</strong> <strong>Customarily and regularly directs the work</strong> of <strong>all front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance employees</strong> during weekend shifts and other times when the GM is not on the premises.</p></li><li><p><strong>Financial &amp; Administrative Support:</strong> <strong>Assists the GM</strong> in monitoring cash management and in-house balances, and contributes to <strong>budgetary control measures</strong> (labor, expense, and inventory). <strong>Reviews and approves property payroll</strong> for all direct reports.</p></li><li><p><strong>Guest Experience &amp; Compliance:</strong> Ensure the <strong>highest standards of customer service</strong>. Routinely <strong>meet with guests</strong> to solicit feedback, monitor social media, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
