This position provides an opportunity for individuals to work in a diverse marketplace and offers a challenging and rewarding career. <strong>Experienced and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Geotechnical Driller Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 pounds</li><li>Experience operating drill rigs or heavy equipment</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with machinery</li><li>Good communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Willing to travel throughout New York State</li><li>A valid New York State CDL driver’s license or the ability to obtain within 3 months</li><li>A positive attitude, with ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on environment</li></ul><p><strong>Geotechnical Driller Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Mobilization of drilling equipment and supplies to various locations throughout New York State</li><li>Safely operate and maintain drill rigs and associated equipment to execute geotechnical and environmental investigation programs in accordance with industry standards and project specific scopes of work</li><li>Maintain safe work sites conforming to OSHA and project specified standards</li><li>Prepare boring, test pit, and monitor well construction logs</li><li>Install geotechnical instrumentation</li><li>Effectively communicate with Engineers, Geologists, Scientists, Project Managers, and owner’s representatives</li></ul><p><em>ATL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
