    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite-based systems in support of the Fort Meade customer. This role works across hardware, software, networking, and RF components, with a focus on communication and signal processing systems. The position supports requirements analysis, system design, integration testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, integrate, test, and deploy data center solutions for satellite-based systems</li>\n <li>Support end-to-end systems engineering activities across hardware, software, networking, and RF components</li>\n <li>Conduct requirements analysis and support system design documentation</li>\n <li>Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution</li>\n <li>Support communication and signal processing system development and deployment</li>\n <li>Maintain technical documentation, test plans, procedures, and system artifacts</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering, operations, and mission teams to ensure system performance and reliability</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with ths customer </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required</li>\n <li>7+ years of relevant systems engineering experience required</li>\n <li>Experience with Linux and Windows environments required</li>\n <li>Experience with FORNSAT systems required</li>\n <li>End-to-end systems engineering experience required</li>\n <li>Experience supporting satellite-based systems, communication systems, or signal processing environments</li>\n <li>Experience working across hardware, software, networking, and RF components</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
