That's why we're fully committed to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience to drive us forward every day.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Overview (Scope of Role)</strong></p>\n<p>The <strong>Color Technology Specialist</strong> performs all testing of incoming colorant raw materials, products made in production and intermediates for custom color production. Production of finished product for customer orders and samples.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an onsite position in Bristol, PA</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Development of color formulation to requests or sample submissions</li>\n <li>Replace discontinued colorants</li>\n <li>Testing for possible improvement and cost savings</li>\n <li>Production of small orders</li>\n <li>Operation of 3 extruders, 2 injection molders and a compression press</li>\n <li>Support customer sample chip program</li>\n <li>Testing of raw materials and finished goods; measure chips vs standard and record results</li>\n <li>Maintain raw material testing data and report internally and to suppliers</li>\n <li>SAP entry of QC Data and maintenance work orders</li>\n <li>Testing Letdowns (KR and concentrates); archiving retains of same</li>\n <li>Maintain and report non-conformances</li>\n <li>Maintain and prepare assigned equipment and standards to ensure accurate and precise analytical </li>\n <li>Provide technical support for color adjustments in Production.</li>\n <li>Maintains equipment, instruments and housekeeping in a safe </li>\n <li>Supports safety programs by completing observations and Hazard IDs</li>\n <li>Supports Loss Control policy, TIMS, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 management </li>\n <li>Ability to handle 300 lb drums</li>\n <li>Ability to climb ladder steps</li>\n <li>Any other reasonable duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complies with all external regulatory requirements, industry best practices and internal</li>\n <li>Sets the example for all Quality Systems expectations.</li>\n</ul> \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in science or related field preferred, or time served relevant work experience</li>\n <li>1-5+ years of experience in polymer processing</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of MS Office, including MS Access, SAP exp preferred</li>\n <li>Understanding of color theory and measurements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equity and Inclusion</strong>With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
