If you're energized by collaboration, purpose-driven work, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful changes in healthcare, you'll find a rewarding environment in our department.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees and manages the evaluation, implementation, analysis, and coordination of IT systems employed by University Hospital</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities for operating efficiency, cost containment and reduction, outcomes, improved communications, patientcare, patient safety and fiscal management that are supported through automated systems.</li>\n <li>Partners with senior leadership to ensure that all technology-related policies and guidelines are current</li>\n <li>Leads employees to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment</li>\n <li>Maintains transparent communication; appropriately communicates organizational information through department </li>\n <li>Understands and adheres to University Hospital’s compliance standards as they appear in University Hospital's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p>\n<p><em>Required:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering</li>\n <li>(5) years of progressive experience with clinical information applications in healthcare or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing</li>\n <li>No less than (3) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience.</li>\n <li>(3) years supervisory managerial experience including maintaining policies and database analysis.</li>\n <li>Two (2) years of project team leadership and special emphasis on task management, user relations, written and oral communications.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of HIPAA concepts and requirements as they relate to medical systems is required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of hospital and health systems operations is a plus.
