    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Under the direction of the Supervisor of Vanpool Services, the Vanpool Service Representative is responsible for managing Vanpool programs in compliance with Pace policies and procedures and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Must have experience in conducting training or presentations, project management and interpersonal/group dynamics.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Certifications:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Must have a valid Illinois, Wisconsin or Indiana Driver’s License with a good driving record.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Must be able to obtain Vanpool Driver Training Certificate and Reasonable Suspicion Training Certificate within 60 days of employment.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Proficiencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Must have intermediate level proficiency in the use of computer software, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint), and Adobe.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Experience with Oracle and Apex preferred.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Must demonstrate excellent reading comprehension and verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service, public speaking, and interpersonal skills; problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">In addition, attention to detail, strong math and organization skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize while multi-tasking, and the ability to meet deadlines while working in a dynamic environment is required.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with other team members.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>Must be able to sit for extended periods, lift, carry, push, and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Travel may be required to Pace project sites within the six-county RTA region, and as needed be able to travel outside of the RTA region for audit, training, or other purposes. Work is sometimes performed in an outdoor environment where you will be required to inspect and operate vehicles in extreme weather.
