Each member will provide receive one-on one and/or small group academic support in before, during and/or after-school programs. Your service will impact elementary students success in the classroom. Members will document their service impact by documenting pre and post rubric outcomes for social and academic growth</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 153); font-size: 18pt\">AmeriCorps members serving in the Youth program could participate in any of the following activities: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Provide a homework help for students through before and after school and/or summer programs,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Plan and implement one-on-one or small group activities for at-risk students to promote healthy, positive social interactions and self-confidence, improve behavior, and decrease disciplinary issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, serving as a role model to encourage character building habits and important social and life skills</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Collaborate with agency staff to monitor youth progress using written evaluations, observation notes, and/or other site-specific tools and protocols</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Increase the capacity of your school district to provide support in health and wellness, recreation, art, teambuilding, music, science, literacy, technology and/or math</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 153); font-size: 14pt\">Additional activities could be assigned by the host site and will be provided on the member's service description upon acceptance.</span></em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 153); font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Alumni Network:</span><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\"> Join a network of like-minded leaders passionate about improving communities.
