    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Intrepid Solutions is seeking an <strong>Audio Visual (AV) Integration/Maintenance Technician</strong> to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Team comprised of AV Subject Matter Expert, AMX/Crestron/Extron programmers, engineers, integration, and maintenance technicians.  This person will provide audio visual (AV) communications and media support for AV-related system components and programs.  This AV Integration/Maintenance Technician would be supporting our intelligence community customer out of our Joint Base Anacostia/Bolling location.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct hardware maintenance and minor installations on equipment.</li>\n <li>Undertake minor system tasks (e.g., loading software and rebooting systems) in support of hardware maintenance and operations functions.</li>\n <li>Install and incorporate new releases, updates, or other changes to COTS hardware and software (diagnostics failures or potential failure predictions).</li>\n <li>Operate and apply automated hardware management and diagnostics systems, including remote management and diagnostics) and interpret findings to maintain, repair, or upgrade hardware.</li>\n <li>Coordinate maintenance of AV equipment.</li>\n <li>Plan, execute, and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance.</li>\n <li>Provide recommendations on spares, spares program, planning, and tracking operational spares and bench stock.</li>\n <li>Provide technical assistance to responding field service personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: </strong>This is a full-time non-exempt position with standard operating hours (6:00 AM-2:00 PM), Monday-Friday.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>TRAVEL:</strong> Limited travel to various customer facilities located within the DMV region to help support the O&M Team.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE:  </strong> Active and current Top Secret (TS) upon application, required. The selected candidate would be required to acquire an SCI and CI Polygraph to meet the customer's onsite requirements.  Active TS/SCI with CI poly is required to start and for onsite work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree in Communications Electronics, Networking, <strong>OR</strong> equivalent electronics technical program Certificate from an accredited Trade School, College or University.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Two years of work experience in the related technology area may be substituted for an Associate's Degree.</li>\n   <li>Certification related to the technology is equivalent to two years of experience or the education requirement.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATION(S): </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Audio Visual (AV) related certifications, desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform AV system and video teleconference system troubleshooting and repair.</li>\n <li>Manage performance optimization and maintain high levels of availability.</li>\n <li>Provide customer support for AV-related needs.</li>\n <li>Ability to determine locations of subject, material, work procedures, sequence, of operations, and machine setups.</li>\n <li>Experience in troubleshooting/maintenance/repair of Telecommunications, Audio Video, or Video Teleconferencing systems, and equipment management.</li>\n <li>One or more of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Installing studio upgrades.</li>\n   <li>AV cabling.</li>\n   <li>Audio and Video systems.</li>\n   <li>Computer-based hardware.</li>\n   <li>Teleconferencing.</li>\n   <li>Teleprompter.</li>\n   <li>Backup files and software.</li>\n   <li>Update drawings.</li>\n   <li>Develop standard test procedures and equipment to conduct functional and operational tests.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work on a ladder, lift, push and/or pull 50 pounds or more, stand for long periods, and be able to bend, kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged periods.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p>\n<p>At CIS Secure and its associated companies, Intrepid Solutions and Services and Darkblade Systems, we believe in promoting fair and transparent pay practices.
