The Laboratory Service Technician will provide support to more senior analytical services technicians.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation: $20/hour</p>\n<p>Location: Brooklyn Park, MN</p>\n<p>Temporary:  May- Sept 2026</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Log and prepare samples for analysis.</li>\n <li>Conduct routine testing such as pH, conductivity, hardness, and other ions on water and other samples as well as prepare samples for advanced analysis by senior laboratory associates.</li>\n <li>Calibrate equipment, load & monitor automated laboratory instruments, make observations, record data, and interpret test results.</li>\n <li>Perform and report corrosion coupon analysis.</li>\n <li>General lab duties include: cleaning of glassware, prep and shipping of samples, and organizing, pouring, and labeling reagent chemicals.</li>\n <li>Accurately compile data, organize information, and perform simple mathematical calculations.</li>\n <li>Performance of other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry degree or related field preferred</li>\n <li>0-1 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment.</li>\n <li>Hard worker, ability to multitask, able to function in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and laboratory standard operating procedures.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent attention to detail and be a strong team player.</li>\n <li>Able to work efficiently, complete work on time, and maintain a clean work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical and Mental requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.</li>\n <li>Required to stand for sustained periods of time. </li>\n <li>Using hands and fingers to grasp, move, and assemble objects and control testing equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities</strong></p>",
