Given the nature of the duties required by the nursing support personnel, SWLA will recruit and hire applicable personnel in the categories of Medical Assistant, Certified and non-certified, and Licensed Practical Nurses.  Salary will be adjusted for education, licensing acquisition and experience.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">High School Graduate. Successful completion of Practical Nursing course from an accredited Technical School.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Successful completion of all requirements of Louisiana Board of Practical Nursing must be met if applicable. Current State Licensure if applicable.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Current BLS/IV Certification. CEU’S or equivalent contact hours for re-licensure or re-certification, if applicable.  Must successfully complete a competency exam.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must maintain a professional attitude under pressure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Employ correct grammatical English and write legibly in order to complete appropriate paper work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Present a professional image and be able to maintain the highest level of quality patient and community relations in representing the foundation.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Participates as an integral part of the multidisciplinary care team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Responsible to greet patients and ensure that they do not spend excess waiting time in the exam room.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Responsible for the collection of necessary information concerning the patient in order to assist the physician in providing medical care.
