This role serves as a key partner to the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring seamless execution across departments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting team performance.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into a broader leadership role—combining operational oversight, team leadership, and business accountability.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and other guest-facing areas</li><li>Lead, coach, and support department managers and hourly team members to drive performance and engagement</li><li>Ensure a consistently high level of guest experience and service standards</li><li>Monitor and manage key operational metrics, including labor, productivity, and guest satisfaction scores</li><li>Support scheduling, staffing plans, and day-to-day operational needs across departments</li><li>Step in as manager-on-duty as needed, handling escalations and ensuring smooth operations</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives</li><li>Drive operational consistency, process improvement, and accountability across teams</li><li>Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to build a strong, high-performing team</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>3–6+ years of hotel or hospitality operations experience</li><li>Prior leadership experience (Supervisor, Manager, or Assistant Manager level)</li><li>Experience overseeing multiple departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, or F&amp;B preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS, scheduling tools, etc.)</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>A strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment</li><li>A hands-on leader who leads by example and builds trust with teams</li><li>Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities</li><li>Comfortable managing both people and processes</li><li>A clear communicator who can work across departments effectively</li><li>Passionate about delivering great guest experiences</li><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.</li><li>Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul><p><strong>About Gravity Haus</strong></p><p>Gravity Haus is a community-driven adventure lifestyle brand with hotels, restaurants, and experiences that empower a modern way of travel.
