    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates is adding to the team and in search of PRN &nbsp;Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologists &nbsp;for our Saturday clinic. This position will accommodate the new PET suite located at our Memorial City office location.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results</li><li>Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administers doses, under direction of Physician</li><li>Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET studies on patients as prescribed by physician, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs.&nbsp;</li><li>Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors</li><li>Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials</li><li>Maintains quality control of all equipment</li><li>Safeguard the privacy of patient health information</li><li>Attends required meetings</li><li>Performs related work as required</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills</li><li>Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology</li><li>Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB</li><li>2 years of experience is preferred in Spect and PET&nbsp;</li><li>BLS/CPR Certification</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Schedule Details:</strong></p><ul><li>PRN status&nbsp;</li><li>Saturday clinic - 6:30am-3pm&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>About Katy, TX:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The City of Katy is the hub of three counties - Harris, Waller and Fort Bend - and is located just 30 miles west of the bustling city of Houston.
