    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Pipelayer</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>WW CLYDE is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to help build projects on the Western Slope in Colorado.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lay-out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain pipping systems </li>\n <li> Knowledge of piping systems, wastewater systems, storm drain, and other fixtures </li>\n <li>Knowledge of system operation and study of building plans or working drawings</li>\n <li>Selects type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications </li>\n <li>Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions and ensure no safety issues exist that would cause structural weakness</li>\n <li>Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers </li>\n <li>Cuts pipe, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine </li>\n <li>Threads pipe using threading machine </li>\n <li>Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine </li>\n <li>Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings, including those made of brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic </li>\n <li>Joins piping by means of threaded, calked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints</li>\n <li>Secures pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools</li>\n <li>Tests piping system for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n <li><strong>Requirements: </strong></li>\n <li>Workers must be able to coordinate the movements eyes, hands, and fingers; use hands, arms, and fingers fully</li>\n <li>Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding</li>\n <li>Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required </li>\n <li>Ability to push/pull/lift at least 20 pound</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Work for WW Clyde?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive Compensation & Benefits:</strong> Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 6% 401(k) match, profit sharing, paid holidays, and PTO.</li>\n <li><strong>Performance-Based Bonus:</strong> Rewarding your dedication and project success.</li>\n <li><strong>Career Development:</strong> Ongoing training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths.</li>\n <li><strong>Stable, Respected Employer:</strong> Join a century‑strong leader in heavy civil construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>*As part of our hiring process, <strong>all candidates are subject to a comprehensive background check</strong>.
