    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title: Quality Manager, Power Electronics Products</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span>  California<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To: </span>VP of Global Quality</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Overview</span></p>\n<p>The Quality Manager (Power Electronics Products) position is to provide Quality Engineering service to one of our most important customer in the clean energy sector. Needs to ensure that all Products meet the stringent quality requirements and standards of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. This role acts as the primary Quality liaison between customers, Sales team, Plant quality teams, and Global engineering teams, driving compliances and meeting Customer Quality Requirements. The position will support NPI (New Product Introduction) Processes into Production release and Qualification at Customer and provide quality Support till EOL, with robust quality practices. The position requires expertise in FAT/SAT, DFMA, and advanced quality tools, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and quality management skills.</p>\n<p>Quality Engineering experience in power electronics such as Power Distribution Systems (PDS), Switchgear electrical equipment, Transformers, DC/AC Energy Conversion modules, and Automatic Transfer Switches is Highly preferred.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Customer &amp; Internal Liaison</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the main quality interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of quality issues.</li>\n<li>Represent plant quality during customer audits, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).</li>\n<li>Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (like ISO) and regulations, such as UL.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Development &amp; NPI</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead quality planning and execution during NPI phases for new products (Transformers, PDS, Switchgear MV, ECM, Ultra Capacitors).</li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineering teams in China and local manufacturing teams to ensure DFMA (Design for Manufacturing &amp; Assembly) principles are applied.</li>\n<li>Validate product compliance with UL and other regulatory standards.</li>\n<li>Manage stage-gate deliverables and quality milestones during product introduction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Assurance &amp; Control</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement quality control plans for all product lines.</li>\n<li>Conduct DFMEA/PFMEA and risk assessments during design and production phases.</li>\n<li>Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D methodology.</li>\n<li>Oversee supplier quality audits and qualification for critical components.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Continuous Improvement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives to improve process capability and reduce defects.</li>\n<li>Monitor KPIs and use SPC (Statistical Process Control) for trend analysis and improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Reporting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain detailed quality documentation for NPI, FAT/SAT, and compliance audits.</li>\n<li>Provide regular quality performance reports to senior management and customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical /Mechanical Engineering)</li>\n<li>5-8 years of experience in product quality management for complex power electronics products.</li>\n<li>Experience in quality control, manufacturing, or quality engineering is necessary, with a preference for experience in the clean energy, renewable energy, or industrial sector.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of FAT, SAT, DFMA, NPI processes, and UL certification.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in quality tools: PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, 8D problem-solving.</li>\n<li>Certifications: ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.</li>\n<li>Experience working with global teams (China collaboration highly desirable).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership and project management capabilities.</li>\n<li>Ability to analyze quality metrics and trends using statistical tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
