Description
Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Virtual Assistant to support a growing community radio station based in Australia. As workload continues to increase, this role will provide essential administrative support, content scheduling assistance, and potential social media management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in creative and media-driven environments. An interest in music is a bonus but not required. Scope of Work: Administrative Support Email management (Gmail inbox organization and responses) Calendar management (as needed) Scheduling content within the Radio Cult platform Managing and organizing Google Drive documents Creating and formatting documents (e.g., proposals, pitch decks, internal documents) Database tracking and general administrative tasks Content & Platform Management Uploading and scheduling radio content in Radio Cult Ensuring content is published at designated times Updating templates and minor edits in Figma Social Media Support (Optional / May Expand Over Time) Content creation (graphics and captions) Scheduling and posting content to: · Instagram / TikTok Other relevant platforms Community engagement (responding to comments and DMs, if delegated) Minor graphic updates using templates in Figma Basic video editing for short-form content (bonus skill, not required) The role may expand gradually as the client becomes more comfortable delegating additional responsibilities. Qualifications: Strong general administrative experience Excellent written English communication skills Experience managing Gmail and Google Drive High attention to detail Ability to follow processes and learn new platforms Proactive and adaptable mindset Experience with social media management Familiarity with content scheduling Basic video editing skills (for TikTok/Reels) Experience using Figma Interest in music or media industries is a plus Ideal Candidate Profile: Organized and dependable Comfortable working independently Open to evolving responsibilities Interested in long-term collaboration Creative-friendly mindset Willing to grow with the business Tools Required: Gmail Google Drive Radio Cult (training will be provided) Figma Instagram & TikTok platforms All necessary logins and access will be provided. Shifts & Hours: Starting with the minimum of 10 hours per week; flexible shift Must overlap reasonably with Australian business hours
