    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>General Description</u></strong><strong>.</strong> A Dump Truck Driver is a per load/hourly-rated position that delivers to concrete companies, golf courses, construction projects or similar performing any combination of the duties described more fully, below. Dump Truck Drivers&rsquo; primary function is to transport aggregates and other construction materials to/from job sites and other various locations. This job description may also perform a variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Key Duties</u></strong></p><ul type=\"circle\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid Class &ldquo;A&rdquo; or Class &ldquo;B&rdquo; CDL license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have familiarity with the safe operation of commercial vehicles and dump trailers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to workdays with early start.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of all USDOT &amp; FMCSA safety regulations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicles prior to operation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain completed pre and post trip DVIR</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Required to carry a current medical examiners certificate (FMCSR part 391.41)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform incidental work items and duties.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean cab, window, mirrors.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Qualification Requirements</u></strong></p><ul type=\"circle\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>General.</strong> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each key duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education and Experience.</strong> This position typically is not an entry-level job, as it requires demonstrable previous experience as a Dump Truck Driver. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with delivery site supervisors and fellow employees. Minimum Two (2) years of commercial driving experience, preferably with dump trailers, is required for this position. Must be able to complete required paperwork such as including but not limited to logs, mileage, highways driven, fuel, required repairs and customer tickets.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands.</strong> The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Dump Truck Driver to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.&nbsp;<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Constant physical and mental effort, primarily driving, is required during a regular work shift. Employees must be able to stand for periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform key duties.</li><li>Ability to lift, on an infrequent basis, at least 50 pounds and carry at least 30 pounds personally. roll manual tarps if required, ensure tailgates and tarps are secure, sweep off excess materials from exterior of trailer before going on highway and use high pressure hose to clean out beds when necessary.</li><li>Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the highway and delivery sites, including the activities of other highway users, employees, contractors and equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment.</strong> The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that a Dump Truck Driver encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.&nbsp;<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Driving is performed in all types of weather and road conditions. Vehicle inspections and other duties are performed outdoors in all weather conditions.</li><li>Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with job sites.&nbsp;</li><li>Employees regularly work around heavy traffic and near heavy equipment and moving machinery on job sites.</li><li>Work involves proximity to high traffic areas, both in and out of construction zones.</li><li>Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on construction sites such as oil, grease, gasoline, diesel fuel and ready mixed concrete.</li><li>Trucks are tracked via GPS and have cameras.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Other duties as required</strong></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Health/welfare Benefits:</strong> Medical, Dental, Vision programs, prescription drug coverage, and other voluntary benefits are available.
