    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large-scale public-sector construction projects valued at $50M and above in New York City. Reporting to a Sr. Project Manager or Project Executive, this role oversees project planning, execution, and closeout with a focus on schedule, budget, contract compliance, and stakeholder relations. The Project Manager ensures adherence to NYC procurement regulations, MWBE and diversity participation goals, prevailing wage requirements, and agency-specific procedures, while fostering collaboration among owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Project Oversight</strong>: Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.</li><li><strong>Schedule &amp; Budget Control</strong>: Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and budgets; track financial performance, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.</li><li><strong>Contract Administration</strong>: Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, back charges, and other contractual processes in alignment with AIA contract documents and public-sector requirements.</li><li><strong>Compliance Management</strong>: Ensure adherence to NYC agency guidelines (DDC, NYCHA, SCA, etc.), MWBE participation, and prevailing wage/certified payroll obligations.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Relations</strong>: Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; provide regular progress reports and lead client-facing meetings.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Supervise and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff; foster a collaborative and accountable project culture.</li><li><strong>Risk &amp; Safety</strong>: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA and site-specific).</li><li><strong>Technology &amp; Reporting</strong>: Utilize project management and financial software (Primavera P6, Procore, CMiC, Textura) to track performance, maintain documentation, and support executive reporting.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master&rsquo;s a plus).</li><li><strong>5+ years of progressive experience</strong> managing large-scale construction projects, preferably public-sector work in NYC.</li><li>Strong knowledge of AIA contract documents, NYC procurement regulations, and public agency requirements (DDC, NYCHA, SCA, MTA).</li><li>Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and contract compliance on projects $50M+.</li><li>Experience with MWBE compliance, prevailing wage, and certified payroll.</li><li>Proficiency in Primavera P6, Procore, CMiC, Textura, and other project management/financial systems.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.</li><li>OSHA 30 certification required; PMP, CCM, or PE preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p><p>This is an opportunity to contribute to some of New York City&rsquo;s most impactful public-sector projects, working with a collaborative team committed to delivering excellence in construction management.
