These applications convert thousands of inbound visitors into qualified prospects each day, making performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience critical to success.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a hands-on role responsible for the full technology stack, including front-end applications, Node.js APIs, system integrations, and the data pipelines that connect with Salesforce, data warehouses, and partner networks. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can independently design, build, deploy, and support production-grade applications while mentoring others and collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Software Development Lifecycle</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own features and projects from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance.</li>\n<li>Participate in technical planning, estimation, and milestone development.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and decision records.</li>\n<li>Conduct code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Backend Development</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain production-grade REST APIs using Node.js and Express.</li>\n<li>Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, rate limiting, and error handling.</li>\n<li>Integrate with databases including MongoDB, SQLite, and BigQuery.</li>\n<li>Build and maintain integrations with Salesforce, marketing platforms, and third-party APIs.</li>\n<li>Optimize application performance through indexing, caching, and asynchronous processing.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Front-End Development</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop responsive, user-facing web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.</li>\n<li>Ensure compatibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.</li>\n<li>Optimize website performance and Core Web Vitals, including LCP, INP, and CLS.</li>\n<li>Build and maintain multi-step forms, validation workflows, disclosures, and conversion-focused user experiences.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Marketing Technology, Data &amp; Analytics</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement and maintain analytics, attribution, and tracking systems, including UTM parameters and click identifiers.</li>\n<li>Support A/B testing and website optimization initiatives.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain ETL processes and data warehouse integrations.</li>\n<li>Build, support, and monitor reporting dashboards, and investigate data discrepancies, anomalies, and performance issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Infrastructure &amp; Operations</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Git-based development workflows and deployment processes.</li>\n<li>Administer Linux-based servers, configure and maintain Nginx, and manage Node.js applications using PM2.</li>\n<li>Maintain SSL certificates (Let's Encrypt/Certbot), configure CDN services, and manage environment variables, configuration, and secrets.</li>\n<li>Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Security &amp; Compliance</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply OWASP security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including proper validation, sanitization, and Content Security Policies.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular security reviews and audits.</li>\n<li>Maintain awareness of applicable regulations, including TCPA, CCPA, and GDPR.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Mentorship</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate project status, risks, and blockers to stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.</li>\n<li>Provide mentorship and code-review feedback to other developers on the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span><br></p>\n<p>We expect a senior, hands-on engineer who can operate independently across the stack. At minimum, you should bring:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5+ years</span> of professional full-stack development experience, including significant time owning production systems end-to-end.</li>\n<li>Strong backend proficiency with Node.js and Express, including REST API design, authentication and authorization, and API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).</li>\n<li>Strong front-end proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+, async/await, Fetch API, DOM manipulation), jQuery, and HTML5/CSS3, including Flexbox, CSS Grid, mobile-first responsive design, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with databases and data tooling, including MongoDB, SQLite, BigQuery, ETL processes, and troubleshooting data integrations.</li>\n<li>Practical infrastructure and operations skills, including Linux administration, Nginx, PM2, SSL certificate management, CDN configuration, and Git version control.</li>\n<li>Experience refactoring and maintaining legacy codebases, and the engineering judgment to balance speed, quality, and scalability.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to mentor other developers and lead through code review and technical guidance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Requirements:</span></p>\n<p>The following are strong pluses but not required:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salesforce integrations and experience with marketing technology platforms.</li>\n<li>Analytics and attribution tracking, and experience with A/B testing frameworks.</li>\n<li>Web application security best practices and familiarity with TCPA, CCPA, and GDPR.</li>\n<li>Experience in legal, insurance, financial-services, or other regulated industries.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Full-time role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">100% remote work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Paid Time Off (PTO).</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Opportunity to work closely with Leadership in a growing, technology-driven law firm.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Long-term growth and stability in a high-impact role.</span></li>\n</ul>",
