The YMCA may have a great career opportunity for you!&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>The OST Site Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations for the Out-of-School Time program, including supervision of the program to provide children and families high quality care in a safe and inclusive environment. Site Coordinator ensures curriculum is being implemented and staff are engaged. He/she helps develop programming committed to healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Along with the Program Administrator, train and develop program educators in designing lesson plans/curriculum to align with STEAM based curriculum.</li><li>Supervise group leaders &amp; assistant group leaders to ensure engaging staff interactions with children and quality curriculum implementation.</li><li>Ensure staff do &ldquo;name to face&rdquo; attendance to ensure all children are accounted for at all times.</li><li>Maintain open and positive communication and interaction among the programs and partners; engagement of parents/families.</li><li>Design curriculum that offers a variety of activities which supports the development of each student in Healthy Living, Social Responsibility, and Youth Development</li><li>Act as a mentor and resource for program staff to maintain a positive program climate.</li><li>Translate EEC state regulations into our daily practices.</li><li>Ensure the use of positive behavior guidance among program staff.</li><li>Lead the retention of staff, students &amp; families along with Program Administrator</li><li>Facilitate program evaluation with Program Administrator and conduct progress reports.</li><li>Promotes and incorporates the YMCA four core values and relevant trainings into all aspects of work, including curriculum, program, and staff and parent/youth interactions.</li><li>Responsible for the OST program in the absence of the Program Administrator.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><strong>/REQUIREMENTS</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ol><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in education or related field or equivalent preferred</li><li>Must meet EEC Qualifications for a site coordinator in regards to experience working with school aged children.</li><li>Ability to relate effectively with diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;the community.</li><li>Ability to lead, teach, and interact with children, staff, teachers, parents/guardians, and the school community.</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to facilitate Early Education &amp; Care (EEC) regulations.</li></ol><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p>Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children&rsquo;s activities.</p><h1><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">ADDITIONAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS</span></h1><ul><li>An annual physical confirmed by a physician&rsquo;s statement, including documentation of 2 MMR immunizations.&nbsp;</li><li>Clean criminal record check.
