Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.</p><p>More About Our Team:<br>Our unit fosters a positive, patient-centered environment that is built on teamwork, compassion, and clear communication.&nbsp;<br>Staff members support one another, creating a culture where collaboration is valued, and everyone works together to provide safe, high-quality care.</p><p>How you'll contribute:<br>A Patient Care Assistant who excels in this role:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Documents care and activities per unit standards.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participates in performance improvement and required education; performs other duties as assigned.<br>Additional Information<br>Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.<br>Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.<br>Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure: Occupational exposure may be present for all employees in this role.<br>Physical Requirements (typical): Frequent standing, walking, reaching, keyboard entry, repetitive hand/arm and foot/leg movements, kneeling, and lifting/moving patients; occasional sitting and squatting; rare running or climbing.
