    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>As a Certified Nursing Assistant&nbsp;at the Monticello Hospital, you’ll find purpose by bringing comfort and healing to our patients.&nbsp;This work requires a kind heart and caring hands. Whether this role is a long-term career choice, supplementing a current job, or a path to other jobs in healthcare, you will find fulfillment in the lives you touch.<span>&nbsp; </span>In this position you will support Med/Surg department, Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit, and Emergency Department.</p><p><strong>Here are some ways you’ll serve patients:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate,&nbsp;and oxygen levels&nbsp;– so we can better assess patient&nbsp;health</li><li>Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time</li><li>Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal</li><li>Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely</li><li>Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Casual</li><li>Variable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm</li><li>Rotating Holidays&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Starting pay begins at $19.40 per hour and increases with experience.<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Pay Range: $19.40 - $28.79 per hour</li></ul></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry.</li><li>Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association.</li><li>Strong interpersonal human relations skills.</li><li>Ability to read and communicate effectively in English</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br>CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
