Located in San Diego County and just outside of San Diego, it's a great place to live and work.  As the Clinic Manager you will have a full team of CPO's, Clinical assistants, fitters and a full lab for fabrication with two technicians.  Currently our patient population is across all ages and is a nice mix of orthotics and prosthetics with an opportunity for specialization if desired.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our patients are our focus and are the heart of everything we do.  As a Hanger Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, you will leverage exceptional training and an extensive collaborative clinical community nearly 1500 providers strong to provide or supervise the delivery of comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care.  You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, implement those plans, follow-up with your patients and participate in practice management. If you have not yet achieved certification, you will provide care under the direction of one of our certified clinicians.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Clinic Manager, the Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist is also responsible for managing clinical operations of practice employees including practitioners, technicians and administrative staff to achieve financial and clinical goals.</p>\n<h2>Your Impact</h2>\n<p>Depending on the operational requirements, size of the Hanger Clinic and subject to limitations imposed by state and/or local law, your role may include some or all of the functions listed below.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage practice operations to ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly goals for sales, revenues, cash and accounts receivable.</li>\n <li>Maintain quality assurance programs to ensure patient satisfaction with practice services.</li>\n <li>Coordinate sales and marketing plans to develop and enhance referral sources and expand revenue opportunities.</li>\n <li>Manage practice expenses and materials to meet or exceed budget projections.</li>\n <li>Ensure bloodborne pathogen, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and other safety and governmental regulations are adhered to.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all employees abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the Hanger Compliance Program and Code of Professional and Business Ethics</li>\n <li>Ensure practice employees are provided with the resources and incentives to achieve the expectations of their position.</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate and complete documentation records are kept by all practitioners.</li>\n <li>Provide direct patient care service for the treatment of Orthotic and/or Prosthetic conditions as appropriate.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC), or </li>\n <li>A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.</li>\n <li>A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.</li>\n <li>In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required as well.</li>\n <li>Five years’ experience in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics providing direct patient care, preferred.</li>\n <li>Two to four years supervisory experience, preferred.</li>\n <li>Two to four years 3rd party billing experience, preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Success Factors</h2>\n<p><strong>Physical Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.</li>\n <li>Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.</li>\n <li>Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.</li>\n <li>Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.</li>\n <li>Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.</li>\n <li>Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.</li>\n <li>Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Qualities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory skills.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of financial and accounting practices.</li>\n <li>Competent knowledge of orthotics and/or prosthetics patient care management.</li>\n <li>Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel).</li>\n <li>Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.</li>\n <li>Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.</li>\n <li>Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.</li>\n <li>Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.</li>\n <li>Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>(California State Only) Pay range of $120,000.00- $140,000.00/yearly + bonus + benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with California State Law.
