Additionally, at Sequel, we're looking for people with an entrepreneurial spirit with a constant eye for continuous improvement in all aspects of their job.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;Starting pay begins at $20.00 per hour</strong>, with higher rates available for candidates who bring relevant experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Plant Manager, the <strong>Night Shift-Insulating Operator</strong> will oversee the operation of Sequel's insulating extrusion equipment, PVC and/or CV, in the most efficient manner possible by performing set-ups, operating machinery, and monitoring the process at all times.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Job Functions</strong>:</p><p>· Read and comprehend production work orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</p><p>· Use overhead cranes and forklift to move materials.</p><p>· Complete and record quality testing.&nbsp;</p><p>· Complete all required paperwork.</p><p>· Operate and maintain machinery and equipment.</p><p>· Adhere to all safety procedures.</p><p>· Maintain a clean work area.&nbsp;</p><p>· Use a computer to enter production information and generate labels.&nbsp;</p><p>· Meet all production and quality goals and standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p><p>· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.</p><p>· Working knowledge of computers.</p><p>· Forklift driving experience desired, training provided.</p><p>· Use of overhead cranes desired, training provided.</p><p>· Knowledge of wire and cable manufacturing processes is a plus.</p><p>· Understand and adhere to ISO certification requirements.&nbsp;</p><p>· Ability to work overtime.</p><p>· Ability to work weekends.</p><p>· Strong attention to detail.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.&nbsp;</p><p>• Previous manufacturing experience- wire and cable manufacturing is a plus.</p><p>• Ability to read and understand work orders and product specifications.</p><p>• Computer experience is desired.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>The essential functions of this job require working within a production facility with exposure to various noise levels from machinery and equipment.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>This is an active role as the employee will work in a manufacturing environment. &nbsp;While performing the essential functions of the job the employee will be required to stand, balance or walk on a consistent basis during a 12-hour shift and may on a frequent basis be required to twist, turn, stoop, squat, kneel, bend or reach. &nbsp;The employee must use safe lifting techniques when lifting objects up to 50 pounds and carry out repetitive hand/wrist movements to include forearm rotation. Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. &nbsp;The employee is frequently required to listen and speak and use their hands to operate equipment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Schedule</strong></p><p>Our facility operates 24/7.
