The Leader’s</p><p>purpose is to oversee the production assembly lines. This lead will assist their team to become more efficient in</p><p>learning acceptable and fast techniques of creating a great filter, how to use Filterbuy machines safely, and how</p><p>to clean filter making machines safely.</p><p><br></p><p>This role will report to the Production Supervisor in New Kensington, PA. Monday through Thursday, 10-hour</p><p>shifts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for smooth operation of their assigned production lines.</li><li>Encourage all production workers to be in position on time and ready for duty.</li><li>Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Must set a good example to their peers.</li><li>Inspect filters using appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards and examining functionality to ensure the highest quality.</li><li>Instruct employees how to verify specifications are met as assembly is being done.</li><li>Teaches how to resolve assembly problems by making needed adjustments or notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.</li><li>Show by example to conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.</li><li>Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the Production Supervisor.</li><li>Assembles components of filters when needed (e.g. assembler in restroom, covering auto line during regular breaks and lunch, etc.).</li><li>On the job instruction to show how to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Oversee media and frames to ensure it is always well stocked.</li><li>Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.</li><li>Motivate team members to meet production deadlines and goals.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required skills and qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2 years of manufacturing assembly experience</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Good understanding of quality control principles</li><li>Manual dexterity and great attention to detail</li><li>Excellent time-management skills</li><li>Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods</li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills.</li><li>Must have the ability to promote positivity.</li><li>Ability to read and write in English</li><li>Ability to follow instructions</li><li>Work independently with little guidance</li><li>Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.</li><li>Must have excellent attendance by scheduling days off in advance and arriving at work on time.</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.</li><li>Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)</li><li>Ability to understand basic math, counting, and measuring skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Bi-lingual Haitian Creole preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Prolonged periods working on feet (10-hr shifts) and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stepping, grasping, reaching, twisting, and pivoting.</li><li>Consistently stretch/ reach with both hands and arms.</li><li>Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components.</li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
