For further information, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.bgis.com/\" target=\"_blank\">www.bgis.com</a></p>\n<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p>\n<p><strong>We are looking to hire a Chiller Technician to join our team!</strong></p>\n<p>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in on-demand service calls on commercial, industrial and institutional chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers</li>\n <li>Able to perform planned maintenance on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll compressors; with York, Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Arctic Cool, Tandem, and Multistack chillers.</li>\n <li>Experience conducting or assisting overhauls on chillers, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Remains current with new technology and ability to adapt&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Read, interpret, create and maintain drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Repair, replace and adjust worn or broken components on HVAC equipment &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Repair and adjust refrigeration valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning systems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Install motors, thermostats, humidistats and other HVAC components&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.</li>\n <li>Other duties as required</li>\n <li>Provide exceptional customer service&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>HVAC License &amp; Gas required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>5 years experience in service and maintenance of chillers&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manufacturer training is an asset</li>\n <li>Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br/>BGIS is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome you to apply for a position with us!
