    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>If you reside in California, please see our California Applicant Privacy Policy for more information about our data handling practices and your data rights.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>MV Transportation is seeking an <strong>Attendant / Bus Aide</strong> to provide assistance to operators and passengers for safe transportation as well as to monitor passenger activity on the vehicle while enroute. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist passengers on and off of vehicles to door and ensure engagement of appropriate passenger securements</li>\n <li>Maintain order on vehicle during transport and proper client monitoring</li>\n <li>Act as liaison between client agency personnel and operations staff, ensuring accurate attendance and delivery of clients</li>\n <li>Effectively communicate problems or situations and proactively working to resolving issues that affect agency clients , caretakers and other passengers</li>\n <li>Aide vehicle operator in the event of accident or passenger emergency in securing the vehicle and safety removing all passengers where necessary</li>\n <li>Diffuse difficult situations in a positive manner and with respect to the needs of the passengers</li>\n <li>Ensure safe and clean vehicle condition at the start and end of each shift</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch or central office personnel via two way radio</li>\n <li>Assist operators in navigating and finding locations where necessary</li>\n <li>Professional demeanor and appearance</li>\n <li>Reliable in attendance</li>\n <li>Team player and helpful to staff, management, and peers</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe work area and a focus on safety to reduce the opportunity for injury to self or other employees</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Talent Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Experience with passenger assistance or working with persons with disabilities</li>\n <li>Monitoring passengers or groups of people in an enclosed environment</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills </li>\n <li>Map reading and directional skills</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Starting Pay Rate: $20.85/hour</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>During the course of employment, employees may receive and have access to confidential information.
