As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">Michael Baker is seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Manager to lead high-visibility infrastructure projects in the Cincinnati region. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role on major roadway, highway, and bridge improvements, partnering with DOT clients and shaping projects that directly impact local communities.<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">We’re looking for a results-driven leader who thrives in the field, enjoys mentoring teams, and has a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead day-to-day construction management and inspection activities on high-impact transportation projects (highways, interchanges, bridges, arterials)</li>\n <li>Serve as the primary point of leadership for field staff, inspectors, and project teams—driving performance, accountability, and development</li>\n <li>Oversee contractor operations to ensure compliance with ODOT/KYTC standards, safety requirements, and project specifications</li>\n <li>Manage all aspects of construction administration, including contracts, pay applications, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong partnerships with DOT representatives, clients, and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Drive project success by actively monitoring schedule, budget, and quality performance</li>\n <li>Lead project meetings and provide clear, strategic updates to clients and senior leadership</li>\n <li>Ensure all work aligns with federal, state, and local regulations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Need to Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field</li>\n <li>10+ years of experience in transportation construction management (roadway/bridge focus)</li>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of ODOT and/or KYTC standards and processes (certifications a plus)</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex infrastructure projects successfully</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams and clients</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical requirements with confidence</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel to project sites and work in dynamic, field-based environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $101,000 - $160,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.</p>",
