Hill International is seeking a Program Director in Utah
Responsibilities
Focus on leadership and management of projects and programs for Hill’s clients in Utah. Work with key stakeholders like UDOT, UTA, and state and local agencies to deliver transportation and facilities projects. Lead the adoption of cutting-edge tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance project delivery, efficiency, and client satisfaction in Utah’s transportation and facilities markets. Leverage professional network to strengthen relationships with contractors, A/E firms, and key decision-makers. Mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration while recruiting top-tier professionals to support Hill’s growth in Utah. Serve as the Hill central point of contact, functional leader, and subject matter expert in project/program management in Utah. Identify business, client, and project opportunities. Establish positive client and partner relationships through successful networking and presentations. Utilize market research, competitor analysis, professional conferences, and other means to identify potential new markets and ways to grow in current markets. Assist in the development and implementation of effective teaming strategies. Assess staffing abilities and identify strategic hires necessary to achieve company goals. Provide project management and construction management services.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of construction management experience in heavy civil, highway, rail, or commercial construction projects. Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering, architecture, or construction management preferred. Familiarity and strong relationships with local market, contractors, A/E firms and clients. Market/local experience: UDOT, UTA, DCFM. Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
